Kristen + Cody | The Kelley Farm Wedding

Kristen + Cody | The Kelly Farm wedding in Bonney Lake, Washington

//

I've been running a little bit behind on my 48 hour blog posts this last week. The season hit hard for July. I've gotten to hang out with so many rad couples. Kristen and Cody being one of them.

When Kristen told me their choice of venue was The Kelley Farm - I basically begged PICK ME PICK ME - you guys, this is one of my all time favorite venues. Not just because of how beautiful it is, but the management is AMAZING. It's really been one of the best venues I've been involved with. They treat their clients so well, and every single wedding is done with such care.

They really look care of Kristen and Cody on their wedding day.

These two are just the life of the party. They surround themselves with the same energy that they give out. The wedding was full of life, laughs and a whole lot of love. I understood Cody and Kristen even more after meeting their wonderful parents - who were so involved and so caring throughout the whole day. I just love that. I love when families come together and do everything they can for their kids on such a monumental day. While they cried, I cried. While they laughed, I laughed. I may have even danced a little during the reception.

I felt at home, and these are the best kinds of weddings. If you want to feel at home like I did, check out their wedding story and enjoy every moment of it.

XO,

Anna + Reed | Shangri-La On The Green Boho Campfire Wedding

//

If you are looking for inspiration for your intimate campfire styled boho wedding, then you've come to the right place.

Anna and Reed's wedding at Shangri-La On The Green was nothing short of that. Friends and family from all over, came and stayed for a weekend wedding getaway at this perfect woodsy campsite venue in Issaquah, Washington.

Anna and Reed's vision for their wedding day was casual and untraditional. A perfect representation of these two. And boy, did they nail it! The only tradition Reed wanted to partake in was not seeing his bride until she walked down the aisle. I knew this was extremely important to him, so we made it happen. And I wasn't surprised at the amount of tears that streamed down his face while everyone began to hoot and holler as Anna appeared in the distance. Their whole ceremony tugged at my heart strings. After they were announced husband and wife, they snuck away for a moment just between the two of them. Which is something I highly recommend ALL couples to do. Even if you've done a first look - once the ceremony is finished - all the nerves settle down for a moment and it's important to take a moment to breathe. It's something I definitely want to begin implementing in my photo timelines that I create with my couples.

They shared a glass of wine and sat in the grass and cuddled, taking a breather and getting to enjoy their first moments of husband and wife in the seclusion of forest. It was perfect. And a perfect way to begin the crazy party they were about to embark for the night! And oh my GOSH was it a party!

From one maid of honor singing her toasts to Anna "icing" Reed - it was everything they dreamed of and more. I'm so honored to have been a part of this day, and being able to truly get to know more about them and capture them in their most genuine moments. Enjoy the wedding story of Anna + Reed!

XO
